VSSL studio
VSSL studio is a container for queer curating and time-based art.
Established by artists Joseph Morgan Schofield and Benjamin Sebastian, and situated in Deptford, VSSL is a place of gathering, a site for artistic production, dedicated to the holding and nourishment of time-based art and its satellites.
VSSL is both a studio and platform for Sebastian and Schofield’s projects, a residency site and a performance venue.
We intend that VSSL becomes a place of gathering - a place where our communities can meet and grow. Please be in touch with questions, invitations and collaborative possibilities.

Gathering in a Time of Plague
In response to the conditions of pandemic, VSSL intends that the studio remains a place where performance practices may continue to unfold, unmediated by the screen. The programme featured seven live performance works, filmed by Baiba Sprance and Marco Beradi.
