Matt Nicholls
Matt Nicholls is a Designer, Artist and Maker based at Cockpit Arts Deptford.
Inspiration comes from reclaimed woods and materials found and salvaged objects, and the bright blocky colours of the sixties and seventies.
Matt’s work embraces the inherent beauty found in imperfections and the wear and tear of time on everyday objects he observes. Texture and pattern often come into play within his work, and drawing is a big part of Matt’s life.
