Case Management Social Worker - Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub

The role:

Lewisham Adult’s Social Care is changing, we know what good social work looks like and our new restructure is all about creating the right conditions and culture for good practice to thrive.

This is a post that is located within our new multi-agency safeguarding hub. The work will be about making decisions regarding s42 enquiries, and carrying out emergency safeguarding interventions. It is a great time to get involved as you will help develop the team. The work will be fast paced.

We know that talking about what good practice looks like is easy, the challenge is turning our vision into a reality. We understand to achieve our ambitions it requires inspiring leadership, resources, infrastructure and a clear, realistic plan for how to get there. We need more creative and energetic social workers to join our teams and help us with this.

Key skills:

All posts work with people from age 18 upwards, and across all adult care groups.

All teams within adult social care are setup to work alongside key agencies and offer strength based interventions to support vulnerable people to maximise their independence and well-being. You will be responsible for the day to day delivery of high quality social care on an identified case load.

• Enthusiastic and innovative
• Able to demonstrate a commitment to personalisation, strength and asset based practice
• Experienced in applying knowledge regarding the relevant legislation
