Gallery Sales Assistant

The Gallery Sales Assistant is a hands-on, client-facing role combining sales, gallery operations, administration and marketing support at Mandy Zhang Art in Marylebone. Working on-site and independently day to day, the role supports the Director while actively driving sales through visitor engagement, lead qualification and relationship-building with collectors and advisors. The post holder will manage CRM records, sales communications, artwork logistics and daily gallery operations, while contributing towards clear sales targets through a commission-based incentive structure. This role suits an organised, commercially minded individual with a strong interest in contemporary art and the art market.

Sales and relationship-building skills, ideally with measurable results

Strong interest in contemporary art and the art market

Confident, professional client-facing communication (collectors, advisors, VIPs)

Excellent organisation and reliability, able to run a gallery independently

Experience with CRM systems and admin tools (e.g. Artlogic, Mailchimp, Artsy)

Attention to detail in sales records, inventory and logistics

Target-driven mindset, motivated by commission and KPIs
