Lead Artists
Autograph are looking to recruit three artists to lead on the creative direction and community engagement for a new creative project working with artists and communities with experience of displacement.
Acts of Solidarity is a new project uniting artists and grassroots communities from refugee, asylum-seeking, and migrant backgrounds to challenge exclusion in the arts. We’re hiring three Lead Artists on part-time employment contracts (2 days/week), offering a salary, holiday leave, sick pay, and TOIL. Artists will co-develop socially engaged commissions through workshops shaped by their practice and community interests. Support includes time, space, training, and peer exchange. We welcome artists across disciplines—visual arts, performance, sound, writing, film, and more—who are passionate about working with communities in informal settings like libraries, schools, and cultural spaces.
