CNC and Fabrication Apprentice

Based Upon Ltd is seeking a CNC and Fabrication Apprentice to join its creative workshop in Greenwich, London. This full-time, permanent role offers a rare opportunity to work on innovative design-art projects, blending craftsmanship, technology, and material experimentation. The successful candidate will support general fabrication with a focus on CNC machine programming, setup, and operation. Applicants should have a design or engineering background, CAD experience, and a keen interest in automation. No prior CNC expertise is required—just the right attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn within a collaborative, high-functioning team environment.

Key skills:

1. Basic CNC machine operation and programming
2. CAD proficiency (preferably Rhino)
3. Workshop/fabrication experience (wood and/or metal)
