Jade They
I am a mixed-race English/Chinese printmaker and have worked across illustration, fine art, and education. My work centres on the natural world, literature and multicultural heritage. Clients/partners include Apple (Regent Street store), SAGA cruise liners, Bermondsey Project Space, Lewisham Art House, Deptford Does Art, We are Magnetic, UAL (online). In recent years, I have worked closely with Richmond Adult Community College and Dulwich Picture Gallery to deliver printmaking workshops/courses focused on empowering participants from local areas that may/may not have had previous arts education. Attending an MA in User Experience Design at UAL, as well as working for fine art printmaking editioning houses such as Thumbprint Editions and open-access printing rooms like London Print Studio.
