Ieva Vaiti
Ieva Vaiti is an electronic musician, visual artist and educator based in London. She has had works shown or performed at spaces such as the The Science Gallery, Barbican Centre, Messums Gallery, The Place and The Roundhouse. Her artistic practice centers around themes of identity and place. She uses sound and visual mediums embedded within installations or performance to explore algorithmic approaches, especially systems susceptible to breakdown or disruption. She’s particularly interested in linear and non-linear time forms, and how people and randomness can intertwine within those systems, leading to the creation of alternate realities.
