fabric

fabric is a not-for-profit platform for female creativity, inviting people who identify as women to share their stories, experiences and perspectives on womanhood via creative mediums such as photography, poetry, illustration and collage.
Each year for International Women's Day fabric runs creative projects or "experiments" - in 2019 and 2020 fabric produced a crowd-sourced magazine and a postcard project in 2021.
fabric aims to celebrate women, democratise creativity, create a sense of belonging, experiement with creative methods, and dismantle the pressure profit puts on creativity.
fabric is run by Brockley-local and LEGO Researcher, Maya Foley who believes everyone deserves the opportunity to be creative.
