Analogue Animation Workshop – March Edition
10 Mar 26 — 10 Mar 26
Workshop
Venue: SET Social
Curious about animation beyond screens and software? This hands-on workshop offers an introduction to analogue and handmade animation techniques, as part of an ongoing monthly series focused on experimentation, play, and learning by doing. Each session explores a different approach to making moving images using tactile, low-tech methods.
Led by artist and animator, Miranda Peyton Jones, the workshop is designed as an open, supportive space to try new ideas, learn practical techniques, and meet others interested in experimental animation. Participants can expect to leave with a short piece of moving image, along with printed materials created during the session.
No previous animation or drawing experience is required. All materials are provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own materials if they wish.
Please note that you will need a smartphone with the free Stop Motion Studio app downloaded before attending.
