Description
For this event, we collabortated with South East Salon to host their 4th Event, which celebrated the created community with Performances and art. The South East Salon events encompass a physical network that:
- Joins creativity and enterprise to resources
- Features new spaces
- Celebrates South East London
The format of evening was casual and informal with speakers and performances, to focus on the creative community.
Attendees
An aim of the evening was to heavily encourage the BAME community to attend, although the event was not advertised in this way in an attempt to not create any exclusivity around the event.
The event welcomed the South East Salon Network, the SHAPESLewisham network, local residents, creatives from the surrounding studios; Workspace Group, Artworks Creekside, APT Gallery and Studios, Arthub Studios, and Cockpit Arts.
Partners & Exhibitors
The event celebrated and featured live art by Damian Simon aka Baserbillion Art, an active member of the SHAPESLewisham network.
The sure performance from Saint Rose, a Brazilian musician and Griot Chinyere, an award winning storyteller.
Food was served by Souldeliciouz, a Mobile Catering Company specialising in Nigerian and Jamaican dishes.
