Courtney
Courtney is a multidisciplinary artist working across collage and digital illustration. Their practice is deeply informed by lived experience, exploring the shifting landscapes of identity, memory and emotional intensity. Working between spontaneous collage and carefully constructed illustration, they use contrasting processes to reflect the coexistence of chaos and control, fragmentation and clarity. Through found text, bold colour and symbolic imagery, Courtney transforms fleeting thoughts, intrusive emotions and moments of vulnerability into visual narratives that invite connection rather than judgement. Their work embraces contradiction, holding grief alongside humour, tenderness beside anger, and loneliness next to hope.
