Common Exception
Common Exception is a creative studio led by South East London artist Louisa Tan. Working with collage, colour and pattern, Louisa creates projects that invite people to notice, play and connect. Her practice spans participatory workshops such as Music + Awe and Awe Walks, alongside the Patterns of Place collection of prints and textiles. Rooted in joy and accessibility, Common Exception collaborates with galleries, councils and community groups to bring creativity into everyday life.
