BLUEM






BLUEM (pronounced bloom) is a bilingual Belgian composer, songwriter, singer and guitarist. Her sound is a blend between pop, indie and experimental contemporary music.
BLUEM uses her platforms to spotlight social and political issues such as the climate crisis and racial inequalities. Her lyrics and tone capture the feelings of an old soul, making her sound universal and appealing to mass audiences.
She is currently at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London and has studied under Laura Jurd, Sam Hayden, Paul Newland and Soosan Lollavar.
She has written works for small, jazz, and string ensembles, orchestra, dance, film, band, electronics and promotional videos.
